Task 2: Be able to conduct research in preparation for an interview (Radio)

For my radio interview I plan to interview Rachel Longley. Rachel Longley is a natural red head. The aim for this interview is to find out information about how people have treated her and judged her because of the colour of her hair.  Before I conduct this interview I aim to research into discrimination and how it has effected people in the past. Through my research I hope to identify any potential areas that may be of interest that I can highlight in my interview with Rachael. I also wanted to identify any relevant matters in the background of the interviewee Rachael Longley that could be linked into the radio interview.

My research: gingers

Why are some people ginger?

What is bullying?

Bullying is persistent unwelcome behavior, mostly using unwarranted or invalid criticism, nit-picking, fault-finding, also exclusion, isolation, being singled out and treated differently, being shouted at, humiliated, excessive monitoring, having verbal and written warnings imposed, and much more. In the workplace, bullying usually focuses on distorted or fabricated allegations of underperformance.
