The purpose of this interview is to inform and educate people about the
Brazilian music samba. This interview is
going to be used in a promotional factual programme.

Structure
The questions that I have asked in this interview are mostly open and all linked to the subject of samba. The reason for the way these questions are structured in this way is because I wanted to get specific information from the interviewee on the history and background of the music and then about the history and background of his samba band. This interview was
set up to be used in a factual programme therefor weeks in advance before the
actual interview took place the interviewee gave permission and was fully aware
of the types of questions he was going to be asked before the interview
started.

details: You’ll find the Forum at the bottom end of
town on Fonthill Common, opposite the King Charles The Martyr Church. It is
only a five minute walk from Tunbridge Wells rail station, which has frequent,
direct connections in and out of London.
For those driving, the Forum is
situated on the A26. If you’re approaching from London, take junction 5 off the
M25 onto the A21 (signposted as Sevenoaks & Hastings) and then turn off the
A21 at the Junction signposted for Tunbridge Wells. That’s the A26, so stay on
that road for 3 miles or so till you see the common on your right.

How to get there via public transport: Train
The nearest station to the forum is tunbridge wells station which is a five minute walk away.
To get to the forum from the station you have to head south on Mt Pleasant
road.
At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto vale road.
After 105ft turn left onto High Street.
After 0.2 miles turn right to stay on High Street.
After 381 feet turn left onto london road.
On the right will be the forum.
Recommended clothing:
All crew members are asked to
wear clothing that is comfortable and pratical for work, but not distracting or
offensive to others. Any clothing that contains words, terms, or pictures that
may be offensive to others is unacceptable. Suitable shoes must be worn at all
times they should be hard wearing and comfitable. For health and safety reasons
sandals or open toed shoes are not permited. Any jewellery, including studded
wristbands, which poses a potential danger to the wearer or others is not
allowed.
Actors /tallent will be asked to wear a costume or outfit chosen by the
director and her team.
Scenes to be shot for the day:
Today we will be filming the band playing various
songs in the forum. To film we have two cammeras, one on a tripod the other
hand held. The aim for today is to film the band playing songs from different
angles. This will enable us to cut to different shots throughout the edditing
process. We hope by the end of the day to have an establishing shot of the band
playing, a medium shot of each of the performers, a close up shot of the different
instruments used and 4 hand held shots of the band playing from different
angles.
Broad schedule:
The forum has been made
avaliable for shooting in from 7:00pm till 10:30pm. The room will take about an
half an hour to set up all the instruments, lights and cameras ect. So it won’t
be till about 7:30pm before we will
start filming. Filming has to finish at around 10:00pm so we will have ½ an
hour to pack up and tidy the room.
Call times: 7:00 pm – 10:30pm
Makeup and wardrobe times: The talent has been asked to turn
up to the shoot already in their outfits to allow more time for filming. However
there is a toilet that could be used down the coridor for anyone that was
unable to get ready before hand.
Scheduled Breaks: A fifteen minute break can
be taken at 8:30pm.
Estimated wrap time: 10:30pm
Weather forecast: N/A as indoors however the weather is
expected to be cloudy and a tempeature of around 10°C.
